Cybersummit

Planning and design brought together cybersecurity stakeholders for a major conference – despite a pandemic.

When COVID-19 struck in 2020, Breck needed to pivot to CISA’s first ever virtual Cybersummit. Breck handled every aspect of the 2020 and 2021 Cybersummits.

In advance of the conference, Breck supported web logistics and created marketing and graphic content. This included email, social media, web, and virtual event support across multiple platforms. We drafted messages and marketing emails for registrants and content for the landing page, and developed a detailed cybersecurity communications strategy for social media engagement.

At conference time, we supported the webcast and pre-recorded videos, both in pre-production and post-production aspects.

We supported presentations, created static backdrop posters and graphics, designed the set, and developed background videos.

The result was a smooth, successful event, bringing together cybersecurity experts, industry partners, and other government agencies. More than 15,000 virtual guests attended the conferences each year we were involved.

2021

Breck supports small yet critical stakeholder engagement as well. For CISA’s Cybersecurity Division, we supported quarterly webinars for the Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Joint Working Group, a key forum for advancing industrial cybersecurity best practices.

We drafted social media posts to promote webinar sign-ups, coordinated with potential speakers, and managed the technical set-up. The result was a well-organized, high-value forum for cybersecurity experts to exchange information and share insights on ICS security challenges.
